Dr. Adriana Díaz, DVM
Medical Director & Veterinary Surgeon
Dr. Adriana Díaz is a dedicated veterinarian with advanced training in small animal medicine and surgery.
She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and completed her specialty training in Mexico, and is fully licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Florida.
With over 15 years of experience in companion animal care Dr. Díaz has developed strong expertise in internal medicine, emergency and critical care, and advanced surgical procedures, including soft tissue and oncologic surgery. Her professional journey has been defined by a commitment to continuous learning, compassionate care, and the use of state-of-the-art technology to improve the quality of life of her patients.
As Medical Director of Miami Welfare Animal Clinic, Dr. Díaz is passionate about creating a hospital environment where pets receive expert medical attention and families feel supported and informed.
Dr. Mariangel Isabel Ramírez
Veterinarian
Dr. Ramírez is a licensed veterinarian in the state of Florida, originally trained at the Ilustre Universidad del Zulia (LUZ) in Venezuela. With a career spanning over two decades, she co-founded AMEVET in 2011, a veterinary clinic where she provided emergency care, diagnostics, and community-focused services.
In May 2025, Dr. Ramírez obtained her Florida Veterinary License, bringing her wealth of international experience to Miami. She is an active member of the Association of Veterinarians in Exile (AVVE) since 2020. Known for her dedication, compassion, and deep understanding of animal behavior and health, she is a pillar in our veterinary team.
Marco Morgado
Manager
Marco combines his passion for animal welfare with strong experience in management. His leadership focuses on creating a collaborative, efficient work environment dedicated to medical excellence and personalized client care.
As the person responsible for the hospital’s operational and strategic management, he oversees human resources, financial control, inventory, internal processes, and team development. He also drives growth, innovation, and modernization projects, ensuring that every patient receives veterinary care of the highest quality.
His dedication and vision play a key role in the continued success and growth of Miami Welfare Animal Clinic.
